Sam is an Assistant Professor of Surgery (Plastic Surgery) at Weill Cornell Medical College and the Director of Pediatric Craniofacial Surgery Program at New York-Presbyterian-Weill Cornell Medical Center. Board certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery, Sam’s clinical expertise includes a wide range of cosmetic and reconstructive plastic surgery. Sam is also an Attending Surgeon at Hackensack University Medical Center in Hackensack, N.J. After graduating with honors from Duke University, Sam received his medical degree from Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons. He underwent his training in general surgery at New York-Presbyterian Hospital-Columbia University Medical Center. Subsequently, Sam completed residency in plastic surgery at the University of Michigan Medical Center in Ann Arbor, Michigan. Sam has worked with renowned craniofacial surgeon Dr. Henry Kawamoto, Jr. and completed a craniofacial surgery fellowship at UCLA in Los Angeles, California. Sam has traveled multiple times with Shahid to Bangladesh since 2005.
